1973 Arab-Israeli October War part 2/4
The Yom kippur War, Ramadan War or October War, also known as the 1973 Arab-Israeli War and the Fourth Arab-Israeli War, was fought from October 6 to October 26, 1973 by a coalition of Arab states led by Egypt and Syria against Israel. The war began with a surprise joint attack by Egypt and Syria on Yom kippur, the Jewish day of atonement. Egypt and Syria crossed the cease-fire lines in the Sinai and Golan Heights, respectively, which had been captured by Israel in 1967 during the Six-Day War.
The Egyptians and Syrians advanced during the first 2448 hours, after which momentum began to swing in Israel's favor. By the second week of the war, the Syrians had been pushed out of the Golan Heights. In the Sinai to the south, the Israelis struck at the seam between two invading Egyptian armies, crossed the Suez Canal (where the old ceasefire line had been), and cut off the Egyptian Third Army just as a United Nations cease-fire came into effect.
The war had far-reaching implications for many nations. The Arab World, which had been humiliated by the lopsided defeat of the Egyptian-Syrian-Jordanian alliance during the Six-Day War, felt psychologically vindicated by its string of victories early in the conflict. This vindication paved the way for the peace process that followed, as well as liberalizations such as Egypt's infitah policy. The Camp David Accords, which came soon after, led to normalized relations between Egypt and Israel—the first time any Arab country had recognized the Israeli state. Egypt, which had already been drifting away from the Soviet Union, then left the Soviet sphere of influence entirely.

A video from Yom Kippur war 1973 that Israelis hate to see
This video was recorded on 13 october 1973 during Yom kippur war, from the Israeli stronghold at (Port Tawfik) in Bar-Lev line on the eastern side of the Suez canal, during the surrendering of the Israeli troops for the victorious Egyptian army.
The strange thing with this video is that the Israeli officer gave the Egyptian officer the Israeli flag as a banner of surrendering, this NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE, it never happened that a soldier give his enemy his flag as a banner of surrendering instead of the white flag.
This show the very bad situation the Israelis were facing in Sinai during their fight with the Egyptian army in 1973.
The Egyptian officer's name is: Zaghlool Fathy
The Israeli officer's name is: Shlomo Ardnest

October War 1973: The Six Hour War
The Egyptian victory at October war 1973 is one of the most important events in the Egyptian modern history.
Despite the israeli claims that they won that war , their Zionist false media propaganda will never change the fact that they were defeated in that war (Yom kippur DEFEAT) , the brave Egyptian soldiers destroyed Bar-Lev line which was the most powerful fortification in the world in only 6 hours , the Egyptian army destroyed what was named as "invincible army" , Egypt fought , won , got back Sinai without leaving an inch for Israel and forced the israelis to accept peace which they refused before that war.
Greetings to the brave Egyptian and Syrian soldiers who lost their lifes to achieve the great victory at October war and to purify Sinai peninsula and Golan heights from the dirty Israeli occupation with their blood.
